CROSS COUNTRY AND BIATHLON WORLD CHAMPIONS

A fantastic wintersport season finale for our ambassadors

Rudy Project is once again crowned World Champions thanks to its biathlon and cross country superstars who seized a lot of medals in the 2021 Biathlon and Cross Country World Championships.

At the Biathlon Worlds in Pokljuka (Slovenia) our ambassadors conquered two gold medals with Marte Olsbu Roiseland (NOR) in the Mixed Team Relay and in the Women Team Relay. Norway’s Johannes Dale notched one silver medal in the 15 km Mass Start and a bronze in the 20km  Eduard Latypov , Alexandr Loginov, Matvey Eliseev (RUS) conquered the bronze in the Man Team Relay.

At the Oberstorf 2021 Cross Country World Championships Johannes H. Klaebo (NOR) notched 3 gold medals in the Individual Sprint, in the Team Sprint and in the team Relay. In cross country a big kudos also to Federico Pellegrino (Italy) who conquered the FIS Cross Country World Cup  overall Sprint classification.

Last but not least Italy jumped on the podium at the short track world championships in the Netherlands. Pietro Sighel took two bronzes in the 500 mt and 1000 mt, the legend Arianna Fontana conquered a bronze and a silver medal in the 500 and in the overall race. The Women and Men Team Relay seized two bronzes in the 5000mt.

 

All our wintersports athletes wore Defender and Cutline glasses which delivered superior protection from uv rays, cold and glare all while providing superior comfort and sharp vision.
