Treviso (Italy), February 11, 2025 – Rudy Project and the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) are pleased to announce the signing of a significant partnership agreement that will see the manufacturer support the Federation with its high-tech cycling helmets and eyewear until the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The technical collaboration covers all disciplines represented by the FCI, with a particular focus on track cycling, where Italy has traditionally been a key player in international competitions.
The agreement was finalized with the contribution of Infront, FCI’s Commercial and Marketing Advisor.
The Italian national cycling team is one of the most decorated and competitive in the world: over the past two decades, it has collected around 1,200 medals (including 458 golds), one-third of which—200 golds—were earned in track cycling alone.
The commitment to providing Italian cyclists with cutting-edge products will be particularly evident in the use of the Wingdream helmet, a symbol of this collaboration. The Wingdream by Rudy Project is the result of over two years of research, conducted in collaboration with the UCI WorldTour Team Bahrain Victorious and validated by Swiss Side’s aerodynamic testing.
The outcome is a helmet that represents the pinnacle of technology applied to cycling performance, designed to maximize speed, aerodynamics, and safety, providing a competitive edge for the athletes who wear it.
National team athletes will also have access to The Wing and Nytron Pro models, both of which offer high aerodynamic efficiency, ensuring a broad range of options suitable for any discipline and weather condition.

Rudy Project’s collaboration with the FCI adds to its longstanding partnerships with the WorldTour team Bahrain Victorious, cross-country skiing giants Johannes Klæbo and Federico Pellegrino, the sailing team American Magic, and its technical support for top speed skating national teams, including the Italian squad for the past 20 years. At the last Beijing Olympics, 42 medalists competed using Rudy Project products.
